The Recharge Room is committed to providing physical and mental health therapies that contribute to the overall health and wellness of those doing the toughest jobs. We know that ease of access to mental health therapies are important! That’s why we are partnering with The Compassion Alliance.
What Is The Compassion Alliance?
The Compassion Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe space for first responders to find the support they need, with the goal of prolonging their careers, enhancing their well-being, and saving lives. The Compassion Alliance offers free trauma therapy services to first responders, supporting them on their journey to achieving optimal mental health. The organization confidentially connects police, fire, EMS personnel, and their spouses with licensed mental health professionals, regardless of where they live in the United States. They achieve this by partnering with specially trained trauma therapists to provide pre-purchased therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of first responders. Committed to making this support more available and impactful, The Compassion Alliance strives to enhance the well-being and mental health of those who serve our communities.
Founder Tony Rodarte retired from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in Phoenix, Arizona, after a 20-year career in law enforcement. Driven by a desire to break down the stigma surrounding seeking help, he has become a passionate champion and advocate for first responders across the country who are still serving their communities. His message is clear: “It’s okay to not be okay.”
